Support Local Funding To Repair and Upgrade Local Schools
Most of Hayward’s schools were built more than 60 years ago and need urgent repairs and upgrades. Many local schools have leaky roofs and deteriorating sewers, plumbing, heating and cooling systems. Aging portable classrooms are falling apart and need to be replaced. Science labs and equipment need upgrades to support current instructional standards. We need Measure I to repair and upgrade local schools so all students attend class in safe and up-to-date schools.
